Internet meeting 2nd Feb 2006

Hello again, Geoff here just to let you know we are still keen to improve our web site and hope to give it a new look by the end of the year. I met with our Forum and they gave me some really good ideas on how our site should look and act. please click here to download the report I made as a result of the meeting. I told the forum that the PRTC young carers web site is so fantastic and full of info that in many ways we can downsize the amount of information we carry and direct you straight there. Internet meeting 4th June 2004

Hi welcome to Surrey Young Carers Website developed by us, some of the Young Carers of Surrey. We got together on the 4th of June 2004 at Walton Youth Centre; 9 of us in all from all over Surrey aged 8yrs - 15yrs old. We decided the site needed some serious changes, we hope you like the new look and we hope to meet again so we can make it a even better site to visit. Here you will find useful information, games, help with home work, entertainment stuff, and loads more. HISTORY: How The First Surrey young carers Site Was Made

In early august 2001 the young carer staff, and a team of 6 young carers got to together and started to plan out the new look web site. We looked at the old site and decided to scrap every thing and start from scratch (except for the background). We have come along way from then and this is the final outcome. We hope to continue to improve and add to the site for a long time. We had several meeting but its was the third and fourth meeting where the site started to form into this. The fourth meeting was an important presentation of the site so far in front of some important people from carers net and some of the workers for young carers. The good thing was that we got some food!! :P . About a month after that we finally got the site up. If you have any comments or suggestion's for the site, please contact us. Hope you enjoy the site
